The Carmelite Monastery as Event Location: Information, Costs, Options
The landmarked building of the Carmelite Monastery, conveniently located in the center of Frankfurt, is the only remaining medieval monastery complex in town. After extensive, five-year-long renovations, this tastefully furnished architectural gem is once again available for events in an atmospheric and historically significant setting. Sophisticated lighting technology and modern lights effectively set up the stage for every single room, while furnishings and equipment meet the highest standards. The Institute for the History of Frankfurt rents out spaces of different sizes and provides the perfect setting for a whole range of events – available rooms can accommodate between ten and 240 people. Additionally, it is possible to rent a combination of rooms. Also note that for highly prestigious festivities, you can also book the monastery’s church, which is part of the Archaeological Museum.
